About this course

This course is designed after the developing condition of knitwear industry of Bangladesh and abroad. This program aims to develop students understanding and practical experience in the field of Knitwear design, production process, styles, calculation of the requirements and engineering of every kind of knitted garments according to performance required.

Program objectives

The main objective of this program is to provide best education with skill to the related field. This program develops the students mind in knitwear business in home & abroad.

To provide hands-on experience using a set of complex technologies found in industry today to build prototypical solutions to solve current needs.

To provide experience in responding to market opportunities with creative and competitive products that integrate a set of academic disciplines such as clothing materials, design fundamentals, business fundamentals, sourcing, costing &consumption, visual merchandising, data mining of market information, and new developments in material science and engineering

Students will:

Potential Employment Market

A KMT student will be able to work home and abroad with his graduation as a Merchandiser, Product Developer, Industrial Engineer (IE), Quality Assurance Manager, Compliance Manager, Supply Chain Manager in various Buying house and Manufacturing farms or work as an independent consultant.
